Spiritual Planes and Dimensions
A talk by
our Asst. Book Steward, Francis Lim.
“There are multiple ways
to understand or relate to ‘dimensions’. Terms like ‘Higher dimensions’,
‘Tetrahedron’ or ‘quantum entanglement’ have always been around topics of
Dimensions... However, what can we make of it? How can learning about it be
actually useful to us? Let us explore the subject of Planes of Nature, and
its significance to our daily lives and our spiritual journey.”

Thought Power and the Battle between Light and Darkness
A talk by
our Asst. Secretary, Brandon Goh.
“Thoughts shape our inner
and outer worlds in exact and far-reaching ways. As the battle between light
and darkness rages on with ferocity and the world teeters on the brink of

Wesak Celebration
As we normally do, we
will have a talk giving a detailed account of the esoteric Wesak Festival
including a video recording made by an Australian TV station of pilgrims
gathering at the legendary Wesak Valley. Members who have attended
this talk previously may be interested to know that we will be showing
slides indicating what could be the actual location of the Wesak Valley
which is famously thought to be in the vicinity of Mount Kailas. We will
then have a guided group meditation for 49 mins. Come and join this
spiritual celebration. Vegetarian
lunch will be served thereafter as part of the Wesak celebration.

The
Mystery of Buddha
In her article on The
Mystery of Buddha in the third volume of The Secret Doctrine,
Madame Blavatsky explains that Shrî Shankarâchârya, who appeared in India
shortly after the death of the Lord Buddha, was in a sense a reincarnation
of the Buddha, inasmuch as He used the “astral” remains of Gautama, and she
says, such “astral bodies” must be regarded in the light of separate or
independent Powers or Gods rather than material objects. She concludes:
“Hence the right way of representing the truth would be to say that the
various principles, the Bodhisattva, of Gautama Buddha, which did not go to
Nirvâna, re-united to form the middle principle of Shankarâchârya, the
earthly Entity.”
Chong Sanne will explore the esoteric truths with
members.
